One way to significantly lower your cost of coming to camp is to exchange some of your time for a waiver of part or all of the fees. You spend a few hours per day helping camp by washing dishes, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping floors or other tasks in exchange for a much lower cost of attending camp. Those on work exchange are still generally able to participate in all the workshops. All work exchange recipients are expected to arrive at camp early Sunday camp starts to help set up and stay later on Sunday camp ends to help clean up.
Examples of possible work exchanges:
- Kitchen cleanup
- Bathroom cleanup
- General maintenance
- Set up/Take down
- Translator
- Children’s program assistant (comes with a small stipend and requires a background check)
If you are a hard worker, enjoy being part of a team, and need a discount to come to camp, contact us to see if you would be a good fit! We accept work exchange requests until all the positions are filled. They are given out on a first come first serve basis so if interested contact us early!
